Upcoming Events: A Night at Blarney Castle | Romeo & Juliet

There are two great events coming up at Our Town Theatre, a CurlyRed client in Oakland, Maryland!

Please join us tomorrow, Friday, March 14, 2025 for a food, music, and drink-filled St. Patrick’s Day celebration! On the menu this year will be Guinness Beef Stew, a baked potato bar, Corned Beef and Cabbage, and of course assorted beers and wine will be available. Music will be performed by local band Aurora Celtic, as well as fun skits, poems, and readings performed by the Emerald Island Players!

Doors open at 7 p.m. and the cost is $25/person in advance and $30/person at the door. Your ticket includes all of the food options plus one drink.

Then in early April, come back to Our Town Theatre to watch the first full-length Shakespearian play ever performed there in the theatre's 25 year history! Romeo & Juliet tells the tragic story of two young lovers from feuding families in Verona who fall deeply in love, marry in secret, and ultimately die by suicide, their deaths ending the family feud.

Tickets are $15 and the play runs from April 2nd-13th, 2025. You'll want to get these in advance, this play will sell out!
