Client Spotlight: Angela from Christmas Chalet and Tourist Trap

Since opening their doors in 1996, Angela's store has been a favorite of locals and tourists alike to stop in and find that special ornament or a gift year after year.

While the lake has changed over the years, Christmas Chalet has tried to stay true to the Christmas spirit year-round by offering not only classic decorations and ornaments but new and unique items every year.

The Tourist Trap began back in the early 1990’s as a souvenir shop located at the Fort in McHenry, Maryland. After moving to its current location in the mid-1990’s, it has been the place to stop for all those treasured souvenirs from a Deep Creek Lake vacation.

CurlyRed, led by principal designer M. Kendall Ludwig, helped Angela with the visual design and layout of her two websites and continue to support her with social media marketing. In the interview, Angela talks about how CurlyRed has made marketing and running her businesses easier by asking the right questions.
