Jackson Hordubay
Junior Web Developer

Jackson has been working for CurlyRed for four years and has loved every second of it. Throughout his time at CurlyRed, he has gotten experience in building websites through Dreamweaver, complete client site updates and maintenance, and a look into how the design process works. He believes that art and design is a crucial element in the world and thinks that everyone should have an opportunity to use it.

Jackson has an experienced past in the realm of programming dating back to 3rd grade. He has been a part of robotics teams from the young age of 10 and going all the way through the present where is now attending Frostburg State University with a major in Computer Science and minor in Theatre. He has extensive knowledge in Java, Python and has a growing knowledge in HTML and CSS.

Outside of CurlyRed, Jackson is a very busy person participating in many activities at his university. He worked as an intern for a research project through WVU and is a part of the FLAIR (Frostburg Laboratory for Artificial Intelligence and Robotics) Lab where he recently presented a project where he and his partner created a robotic arm controlled by a camera and human arm movements. He has a deep love for the theatre and the stage in which he has held leading roles in all of the 5 shows he has been in at the high school level. He still participates in the theatre department at FSU, where he built sets for their recent shows. He likes to take the creativity from the theatre and implement it into his work here at CurlyRed.

He also enjoys playing video games and talking about them with Mark.
